Basic Course Outline:

Clinical reasoning underpins the formulation of a working hypothesis when assessing and treating a patient. It is the detective work that leads to an optimal outcome for the patient – whether this be in the form of physiotherapy intervention, or onward referral.

This evening workshop is aimed at revising and relooking at the Clinical Reasoning process and will highlight the pitfalls and potential red/yellow flags that physiotherapists, as first line practitioners, may encounter with their patients.

A patient with complex spinal pathology/chronic history (unknown to the presenter) will be assessed and treated as part of the workshop.  Case studies will also be presented and discussed with the group.

Any practitioner who would like to review his/her skill set in a welcoming environment is encouraged to attend.
